Prospective residents must go thru a background check in order to qualify to purchase a home in Thunderbird Village. All 114 residences are owner occupied. All lots are leased to the homeowners. The property is owned by Thunderbird Village Residents Association Inc. (TVRA), a non profit resident owned corporation. About half of the residents are Members of the corporation. All residents are leasees. Corporate Members pay only a maintance fee per month.

There is a Community Club which schedules activities at the clubhouse and maintains a clubhouse library. The Village also publishes the Chatter, a monthly newsletter

Homes are available for sale in the Village from time to time and your Realtor can provide information on them and show the homes. TVRA has the authority to approve the buyers so the Office must be contacted to provide information for buyer approval. TVRA is not otherwise involved in the sales. They are involved in the sale of Corporate Memberships , which may be offered for sale with a home as a requirement of the sale. Only residents can own a Membership.
